About
The Beast in the Bin is a story that changes a little every day.
Each morning, an automated process picks one aspect of the story at random — its tone, its setting, the way it's written, a small thing about a character — and asks a language model to rewrite the story along that single axis. Everything else is preserved. The day-to-day change is small.
But the changes compound. The model only ever sees yesterday's version, never the original. So over weeks and months, the story drifts. A reader returning after seven days will recognise most of it. A reader returning after seven months may not.
This is a quiet experiment in continuity, drift, and what a story remembers about itself.
